Applications Manager

Synapri are on the hunt for a proactive and passionate Applications Manager to take long-term ownership of key business applications (Microsoft stack) within a well-established education company in London!

This is a key role in the Application Management Team, responsible for ensuring applications operate securely and within defined performance standards throughout their lifecycle — specifically from implementation through to retirement.

You will act as the SME and owner for different systems, driving stability, continuous improvement and long-term value within the business. This role covers E2E management across ownership/performance, problem management, operational standards, roadmap planning and as well as someone who can roll their sleeves up across technical expertise and stakeholder management.

Location: Hybrid in London 3x weekly

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus benefits

Skills required:

• Experience managing or supporting business-critical applications
• Strong knowledge of incident and problem management processes and how to appropriately escalate if needed
• Experience performing root cause analysis
• Ability to analyse performance data and produce KPI-driven reporting
• Confidence communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• A continuous improvement mindset
