Lead Security Architect

Essential Skills

Service Architecture for Complex, Secure or National Security Platforms

• Experience designing service models for classified or high assurance digital services.
• Strong understanding of operating models in cross government or large enterprise environments.

Deep ITIL Service Management Expertise

• Demonstrable experience applying ITIL frameworks within a complex technical environment.
• Prior experience of designing multi tier or federated support models.

Service Transition Expertise

• Proven experience leading service transition for major digital programmes, preferably with dual run or staged migration.
• Understanding of operational acceptance, onboarding, go live readiness and ELS.

Cross Government, Multi Agency or Supplier Ecosystem Experience

• Experience working across organisational boundaries, ideally involving public sector, suppliers and specialist operations teams.
• Ability to navigate differing service cultures and maturity levels.

Commercial and SLA/OLA Design Exposure

• Experience working with commercial teams to shape service offerings, SLAs, performance measures and supplier accountabilities.

Leadership & Communication

• Strong communication and influencing skills, able to operate confidently across operational, technical, commercial and senior stakeholder groups.
• Ability to simplify complexity and design services that scale.

Our client operates hybrid working 2-3 days into London, with occasional client site visits will be required into Glasgow.
