Secret Management Engineer

Salary: £90,000 including excellent bonus and benefits

My client is currently hiring for a Secret Management Engineer role with a

leading global technology consultancy onsite at an international bank.

This is a specialist security engineering position focused on the secure

management of credentials, encryption keys, certificates, and sensitive 

data across enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection 

of Cyber Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and DevOps, helping organisations

strengthen their security posture while enabling secure application

delivery at scale.

In this role, you'll:

• Design and manage enterprise secrets and key management solutions
• Manage credential lifecycles, including storage, rotation, and revocation
• Implement encryption standards and secure access controls
• Integrate secrets management into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Enable monitoring, audit logging, and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, and DevOps teams
• Automate security controls and secrets management processes
• Support governance, compliance, and audit requirements

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong Cyber Security experience, particularly in secrets and key management tools. 
• Ideally experience HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk or Google secret manager. 
• Has worked within DevOps and CI/CD environments
• Has cloud experience with AWS or GCP
• Understands encryption, credential management, and access control
• Can deliver security solutions in complex enterprise environments
• Works effectively with technical and security stakeholders
• Has knowledge of compliance, governance, and audit processes
