QA Lead

QA Lead contract opportunity - ASAP start
 
One of our Financial Services organisations are currently reviewing its operational model and technology strategy for next year, with a particular focus on transforming its testing and quality engineering capabilities from a manuel testing environment to a more automate model.

Location: Hybrid in Nottingham
Rate: DOE

Scope of the role:
- Assessing the current testing capability, identifying what's working, what's not and where the bottlenecks are
- Understanding the existing team's strengths, skills and capabilities, and identifying where investment or change is needed
- Developing a strategy to transition from predominantly manual testing towards automation-led quality engineering
- Understanding how to scale automation, improve efficiency and embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Providing technical direction and helping the organisation understand how to get from its current state to where it wants to be
 
The technology environment:
- Microsoft Azure cloud and data environment
- Cypress for test automation
