As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, the Synapri and Kinekta teams rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in at Bromley Y on two dedicated volunteering days - 24th April and 7th May 2025.

Bromley Y, a long-standing mental health charity supporting young people in the Bromley borough, welcomed our teams as we undertook the mammoth task of repainting the perimeter fencing at their Bromley headquarters. The job was no small feat, but the transformation was incredible. The once-tired fencing now looks fresh, warm, and welcoming, creating a more positive and inviting environment for the young people and families who visit every day.

“We wanted to contribute something meaningful to a charity that’s doing vital work in our local community. It was a big job, but seeing the difference a lick of paint can make was really rewarding.” James Smith, Director, Synapri/Kinekta

While the focus was on supporting Bromley Y, the experience had a positive impact on us too. Stepping away from our screens and into the sunshine for a shared cause was not only refreshing but a brilliant way to bond as a team. It reminded us of the power of simple actions, how even a few coats of paint can help brighten someone’s day, and how giving back can lift our own wellbeing as well.

These volunteering days reflect a wider commitment at Synapri and Kinekta to create stronger ties with local communities, support mental health initiatives, and provide our team members with opportunities to make a tangible difference outside of the workplace.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Bromley Y for the incredible work they do and for allowing us to play a small part in creating a more welcoming environment for the people they support.
