Salesforce Product Owner

  • £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: South Yorkshire (with flexible working)


Job Description:

  • Taking the lead of scrum teams as the Salesforce Product Owner
  • Working with stakeholders to provide vision/direction to the Agile Engineering team
  • Ensure that the Agile team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks
  • Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Work closely with the Salesforce Business Analysts and from time to time take on BA duties
  • Define the internal customer product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Product Management and Busines Operations to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and ROI
  • Lead CRM product release plans and set expectations for delivery
  • Research and analyse future requirements and the roadmap for the Salesforce product
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Document and communicate plans and results Ownership and accountability of requirements traceability for testing
  • Responsible for resource planning of the testing effort across all disciplines of testing
  • Working with development lead on environment, configuration and release management aligned to the needs of testing and the programme
  • Responsible for planning and execution of all test disciplines in scope across large complex end to end solutions



  • 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Technical Business Analyst in the Salesforce eco-system
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Salesforce Administration
  • Must have minimum Salesforce Certification Administration (ideally Sales Cloud certification)
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile & Scrum principles
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision and has attention to detail
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Demonstrated self-started ability
  • Proven experience writing clear technical documentation
  • Experience collaborating with development teams in an agile development environment
