Senior Python Developer

Contract Senior Python Developer – 6-months initial contract – Outside IR35 – Leading E-commerce business in the fashion space.

Our client has exciting plans for 2021 and is looking to hire a Senior Python Developer to join them on their journey. Based in Hoxton (however with a flexible working approach), this is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the business to take responsibility for the Python function and have the opportunity to build out a team around them. 

This role will be responsible for defining their system and data architecture and moving their existing Python function from off-shore to in-house resources.

You must be a passionate self-starter, it is important that the individual hired is able to participate in important architectural decisions as well as brainstorming ideas and being involved in the creative process.

Expectations:

• Writing great code
• Owning delivery. You’ll care about bugs, scalability, uptime, and other non-functional requirements

Requirements:

• A high-level understanding of Python and Django
• A high-level understanding of cloud services
• Comfortable with working with data and API’s
• Agile outlook. You need to be excited about working in a fast-changing environment, as well as make suggestions on how to improve our process
