Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure Specialist
- UK Based (Remote)
- £600 per day
Synapri are working with a market leading business operating within the Energy sector who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, specialising in Azure, to join their existing DevOps team on a contract.
You will be working closely with in house agile product development teams, and be responsible for the design, development, monitoring and ongoing support of Azure Cloud. You will also carry out continuous improvements to platforms, including system development, processes design and automation and diagnostics improvements. Assurance of platform security, privacy and resilience will be your greatest concern.
Experience Required:
- Building CI/CD pipelines for build test and deployment of code onto target application servers (using GitLab and Azure DevOps etc)
- Use of Infrastructure as Code such as Azure ARM templates / Terraform
- Good technical understanding of web services and APIs
- Strong knowledge of containers, Docker, Helm and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Azure Monitor (metrics, logs), Application Insights, Azure Cost Management
