Opportunity for a talented Automation Tester with Cypress experience to work for an award winning online news publisher. The team always work together to deliver exciting new features using best practice with performance and reliability always in mind.

The role of the Senior Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for developing automation tests for new & existing products, troubleshoot & fix bugs/flaky tests, improve performance of the automation suite and refactor code to follow latest standards

About you

• You will have extensive knowledge of automation testing & development working in an agile environment with strong Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• You have a real can-do attitude, are driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• You are skilled in creating multiple types of automation and regression packs.
• You can write automation tests for new features - both functional and non-functional

Skills

Essential

• Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer with a focus on Cypress and Playwright.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with web development technologies.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience in using test management tools
• Experience with API Testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
