Lead Developer (Dynamics & Azure)

  • London / Reigate (2 days per week, Hybrid Work Model)
  • £90,000 per annum

We are partnered with a client who are at the forefront of digital transformation, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for their customers through the power of technology. As they navigate through a pivotal migration from on-premises infrastructure to Azure cloud services, they are looking for a Lead Developer who excels in team leadership and stakeholder management, while maintaining a solid understanding of their technical landscape.

The Lead Developer position is designed for a leader who is as passionate about guiding and developing their team as they are about technology. While your primary focus will be on leadership and stakeholder management, your technical background will enable you to understand the intricacies of their work with Dynamics (CRM, Marketing Automation 365), the Power Platform, Power Automate, and the ongoing migration to Azure. This role is a blend of technical knowledge and people management, offering the chance to lead by example and drive the team forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of developers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Oversee the technical direction of projects, providing guidance and oversight without being deeply involved in day-to-day coding.
  • Facilitate the migration from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, using your understanding of cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team and the broader organisation.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing technical teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to engage and align different groups towards common goals.
  • A solid technical background, with knowledge of Dynamics (CRM, Marketing Automation 365), Power Platform, Power Automate, and API Management.
  • Experience with C# or Java frameworks, and ideally some familiarity with React and Azure environments.
  • Understanding of Apigee and Genesys integration applications is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to navigate the challenges of migrating to cloud-based solutions, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of up to £90,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working model, offering the flexibility to work from our London or Reigate offices 2 days per week.
  • The opportunity to lead a talented team through a significant period of digital transformation.
  • A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work culture that values diversity and innovation.
