Training Administrator & Delivery Associate

Location: Onsite 4-5 days a week, travel to workshops/team meeting is to be expected.

Introduction
This department has a crucial role to play in modernising the organisation through digital transformation. The directorate has approximately 250 staff and is growing in order to meet the demands of the department, and to provide a wider and more mature range of digital, data, technology and security services.

This role sits within the Training Digital Team. We are responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of excellent digital training services across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver and facilitate training workshops, show & tells and presentations face to face and online virtually.
  • Carry out administrative tasks to support the Digital Training Team.
  • Work closely with the wider organisation to fully understand user training requirements and be able to contribute to effective ways of working and training delivery methods.
  • Work closely with the commercial partners to discuss and articulate user training requirements and be able to contrbuite to effective ways of working and training delivery methods.
  • Act as a key link between and meet regularly with the digital training lead and also be present at Digital Training Team meetings to gain insight into how the department functions and the user demographics.
  • Attend all stand ups, scrum, RAID and any other programme related meetings and provide feedback and status report to the training lead.
  • Updating training materials and resources inline with departmental policy.
  • Be proactive in communicating and preparing for stand ups, scrums and RAID meetings.
  • Conduct analysis and research techniques to further explore the most viable training delivery options to utilise existing and future technology.
  • Ensure compliance and policies are adhered to.
  • Promote the companies values and vision and act as a role model for the division. 

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • You will have a proven track record in either delivering M365 apps training OR can evidence you have used M365 for work for a minimum of 2 years and have some training experience.
  • Training delivery both face to face including one to one and large groups, with some live virtual sessions using Google meet / MS Teams.
  • Training administrative support.
  • Experience in change management and adoption.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and show a willingness to support the objectives for the training team and enhance its reputation.
  • Communicate effectively to maintain relationships and collaborate with other teams  and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills with an ability to adapt tone to suit the audience.
  • Have a flexible, customer-focussed approach and take the initiative to resolve issues.
  • Have strong administrative skills, with attention to detail and be adept at using Google Sheets.
  • Be open to change, iteration and an agile way of working.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of the team, whilst also being able to take the initiative and be proactive to achieve results.


Desirable:

  • Ideally you will have a proven track record in either delivering Google Workspace apps training OR can evidence you have used Google Workspace for work for a minimum of 2 years and have some training experience.
  • Experience administering and running working groups, ideally a training working group.
  • Understanding of the training cycle.
  • Worked on or have experience of working on a transformation project or product.
