Technical Assurance Co-Ordinator / Security Architect

Contract Length: 24months
Location: Corsham – 2/3 days per week on site

A security architect creates and designs security for a system or service, maintains security documentation and develops architecture patterns and security approaches to new technologies. The role will need to interface with Users, the Fixed connectivity team, and Defence Digital Governance & Assurance leads to provision the ongoing dataset to support continued approval of use, issued by the Defence Enterprise Authority Board (DEAB).
This post requires essential knowledge & experience:
- Demonstrable experience of producing JSP 604 rule submissions.
- Experience of building assurance evidence to support securing Authority to Operate.
- Experience of working within a team that has managed Voice & Video Services.
- Experience leading the presentation of technical arguments/briefings into Technical Design Authority meetings/Boards.
- Experience developing Assurance Plans that align to Product Roadmaps.
This post requires desirable knowledge & experience:
- Experience of working within teams that have managed Strategic Networks and Bearer Services.
- Experience & Understanding of the difference between ‘Legacy’ and ‘New’ systems and the challenges this presents during transition, particularly for highly secure systems.
Desirable characteristic:
- Ability to work with others in a high pressure and conflicting priorities environment.
- Ability to work in a complex environment where Security conditions and controls can be difficult to navigate.
- Previous experience of developing systems, solutions or services that form a key element of a larger system or capability.
