Senior Project Manager

Synapri are working with an outstanding MSP to hire a Senior Project Manager to help support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of IT projects. 

Key Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects at the same time, ensuring they are delivered on budget and on schedule.
• Responsible for the design and installation of projects as and when required. 
• Build in-depth project plans and ensure they are followed through to completion. 
• Ensure clients and stakeholders are informed of project progress. 
• Escalate issues as appropriate to project stakeholders. 
• Ensure projects are delivered against the defined standards.
• Manage third-party contractors, as and when required. 
• Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after installation.
• Provide guidance and assistance to Project Engineers 
• Ensure guides, documentation and standards are kept up-to-date. 
• Carry out cabling installations and maintenance.
• Attend site meetings, as and when required. 
• Suggest improvement ideas if and when identified.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

•  Required - Experience managing IT Projects 
•  Required - Experience working with complex, multi-dependent and multi-stakeholder projects.
• Required - Ability to work in an organised fashion and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Required - Good understanding of on-premises and Cloud IT solutions and best practices.
• Required - Great communication skills.
• Advantageous - Experience and good working knowledge of MS Project
• Advantageous - Experience within an MSP environment
• Advantageous - Good working knowledge of Azure, 365, SharePoint, Networking, Wi-Fi, Voice
• Advantageous - Experience of working with suppliers like Openreach, Gamma, TTB
• Advantageous - Experience of managing IT Projects within the construction sector
• Advantageous - Project Management Qualifications (E.g. PRINCE2)
