Senior Portfolio Analyst

Location: Aldermaston, Reading – 3 days per week minimum
Key Accountabilities:
- Provides complex analysis of governance, reporting outputs and programmatic data to track key activities, plans, budgets, issues, and risks across all portfolios.
- Analyses the portfolio to maintain a integrated view of the key risks and issues across and recommend effective actions to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
- Analyses and evaluates portfolio data to identify discrepancies, trends, exceptions, and opportunities.
- Highlights interdependencies and conflicts between business as usual and the portfolio and recommends courses of remedial action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads reporting from programmes and projects and provides analysis, insight, and recommendation of decisions for improved of performance of the portfolio.
- Support the PMO Service Leads to communicate and build commitment to a shared vision and sense of purpose.
- Recognise and track interdependencies across the business.
- Monitor portfolio risks (threats and opportunities) and escalate as appropriate.
- Manage and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Using programmatic data develop predictive analytics to optimise project performance.
