Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview:
The role focuses on delivering and supporting key technologies for the Desktop and Digital Signage team within DWP's Technology Services, aimed at providing secure, effective, and user-focused digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a digital workplace that improves operational efficiency and productivity.
• Provide high-quality IT services and support to end-users.
• Build a performance-focused user experience control centre.
• Enhance hybrid cloud services to improve flexibility and scalability.
• Ensure service protection, security, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in end-user computing environments.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), especially Intune and Google Workspace.
• Proven hands-on experience configuring and managing MDM solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical MDM issues.
• Knowledge of performance benchmarking, fault detection, and resolution.
• Experience with SaaS service monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
