Network Engineer

Location: Hereford - full time on site with potential to travel to other UK sites (adhoc)

• CCNP Enterprise certification 
• At least 3 years’ experience supporting complex campus area networks (CAN) and wide area networks (WAN) 
• Experience of configuring and administrating IP cryptography
• Experience with Linux OS and its command line interface, network logging and analysis tools (e.g. PRTG, Solar Winds or Splunk) 
• Familiar with Splunk or Elastic as a network support enhancer – possess the ability to search and navigate as well as create reports, alerts, and dashboards 
• DV clearance is essential
• Technical competency
• Supporting production networks
• Work well in a team – working under military management.
• Strong stakeholder manager skills at all levels (internal and external)
