Clinical Governance Lead

Our client are looking to hire an Interim Clinical Governance Lead to support the effective delivery of healthcare and safeguarding services. You will provide effective clinical guidance and oversight to operational leads. To act as a supporting Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key Operations on issues relating to arrival’s health, wellbeing, vulnerability and safeguarding and to work with equivalent responsibility owners, to ensure consistency of approach and compliance with regulation and legislation, and clinical care standards.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Experience should include clinical governance and oversight in Primary Care Services.
• Experience of managing clinical assurance and compliance frameworks.
• Experience should include a background in clinical delivery.
• Detailed knowledge of scope of delivery for different roles in clinical delivery.
• Detailed knowledge of training and qualifications required for different roles within clinical delivery.
• Experience of working with healthcare contractors, providers in an operational setting.
• Understanding of Safeguarding principles.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience working in a detained setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of legislation relevant to urgent health care and how this relates to a detained setting including rules relating to healthcare in Short Term Holding Facilities and Residential Holding Rooms.
• Project Management and experience to support data information.

The role is a 6-12 month contract that can be remote based with some hybrid working to offices as and when required. Dover, Manston office and other sites in this vicinity as and when required.
