Product Control Business Analyst

Location: London - Hybrid Working 

Role Overview

My client is a world leading global consultancy who are working with a leading financial institution, they are searching for a Product Control BA to work within the Capital Markets space.

The individual will support Markets Finance projects related to the Regulatory SIP program and may also assist with initiatives aimed at driving commercial growth and meeting other regulatory needs.

 Key Responsibilities and Experience.

• Experience working in banking, financial services businesses.
• Define business requirements and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document outcomes and specifications.
• Drive process improvements and support Agile development.
• Provide solutions for finance processes, reporting, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with accounting sub-ledger functions supporting Product Control, Financial Control and Operations, with a daily trial balance that is leveraged across Risk, Finance and Treasury consumers.
• Daily P&L and balance sheet finalisation processes and reporting.
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in Product Control and Financial Control.
• Strong proficiency in Agile software (JIRA, Agile Central) and business analysis tools.
• Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts; Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology – Product Backlog/Features, Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done etc.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Capital Markets experience would advantageous.
