Payments Business Analyst

Location: Knutsford – Hybrid working 2 days onsite  
Contract Type: 6-month extendable contract - Inside IR35
Daily Rate: £375 - Open to discuss

Role Overview:

My client is a leading financial services business and they are hiring a Payments Business Analyst for a 6-month extendable contract. The role involves supporting strategic initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering high-quality analysis and reporting to drive business decisions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven expertise in Open Banking or API-based solutions
• Strong background in Payments, UK Payment Schemes, Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS or Cards.  
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders
• Excellent strategic thinking, influencing, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting and financial analysis
• Stakeholder management and relationship building
• Coordinating activities and resources across projects
• Reporting, data analysis, and insight generation
• Supporting strategy development and change/transformation initiatives
• Influencing and communicating effectively with business and technology stakeholders
• Ensuring risk and control compliance in all activities
