Role Overview: Manager, Payments Regulatory Policy

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Manager, Payments Regulatory Policy, to join a financial services trade body based in London.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior policy advisors on critical UK, European, and international payments regulatory issues.
  • Engage with various payments working groups and financial trade bodies within the UK and EU.
  • Work closely with UK regulators and trade bodies to influence and shape payments policies.

 

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive expertise in the payments sector, with a focus on UK and international payment schemes and a strong understanding of relevant policies and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the broader payments landscape, including cards and interbank payments.
  • Strong policy and advocacy skills, with proven experience in managing relationships across the payments industry.
  • Exposure to customer authentication, payments innovation, alternative payments, card payments, and NFC is beneficial.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management abilities.

 

Salary: £45,000 to £70,000

Benefits: Excellent package, including a competitive pension and bonus.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid working model with 2 days per week in Central London.
