Manager, Payments & Innovation

I am recruiting for a leading financial services trade body located in London.
The Manager, Payments and Innovation will work on new digital money (including central bank digital currency) and innovation. The successful applicant will also be expected to work across the Payments and Innovation directorate as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Providing input to the secretariat for the New Digital Money Steering Group, CBDC, WG, Digital PSP’s group.
- Lead the companies engagement on Central Bank Digital Currencies, working alongside wider new digital assets and money NDAM.
- Providing support on thinking, policy, advocacy surrounding the development of the standards in the banking and finance to deliver positive outcomes for customers.
- Developing high quality policy papers and briefings on payments and innovation policy and strategy issues.
- Providing analysis and critique of digital, payments and innovation policy issues and assist senior colleagues to build consensus with members.
- Working with other team members to deliver high quality, well-attended events that showcase the companies work.
Skills
- Previous policy experience is desirable, along with the ability to draft high quality reports and briefing documents.
- Proven ability to provide concise analysis and recommended options on policy-related matters.
- Experience of project management in a financial services or professional services firm is desirable.
Salary £45,000 to £55,000
Fixed term contract – 6 to 9 months – Open to secondment / potential to go permanent
