Role Overview

My client is recruiting for a Head of Foreign Banks for a financial services business.

This is an exciting position working for a leading trade body which support its members by promoting a safe, transparent, and innovative banking industry. Through research, policy, and advocacy, they provide a unified voice and add value to the industry.

 Responsibilities 

  • Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across the foreign bank community.
  • Responsible for secretariat for the Foreign Banks Forum to include curation of agenda items from across the wider business, associate membership and other relevant sources.
  • Partner with members. and work closely with the big 4 consultancy firms and legal firms. 
  • Organise roundtable events and networking dinners. 

 Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience in relationship management within the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to chair groups and committees effectively.
  • Proficiency in shaping business tools and processes to achieve streamlined results.
  • Expertise in engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK and global regulatory and policy landscapes.
  • Experience in international affairs and cross-border collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Act as a key liaison between the international affairs team and foreign bank members.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a meticulous approach to complex issues.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify trends and opportunities.

Location: London - Hybrid working 2/3 days a week 

Salary Range: £80,000 to £99,000 - Depending on Experience
