Head of Engineering

Head of Software Engineering required for a leading London based SaaS business. Our client, who specialise in Credit / Risk Management and Business Intelligence software are looking to hire a highly experienced Head of Software Engineering on a permanent basis.

The key focus of the role will centre around providing a deeper understanding and optimisation of the onshore and offshore engineering models, focusing on best practices relating to software development and delivery. Our client is keen to speak to people who have a strong understanding of technical processes and ideally have worked with offshore and onshore systems.

A background of developing modern Microsoft tech environments is required (C# & Azure)

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive technology delivery across the engineering function
• Help to gain a complete oversight of the company’s engineering position
• Optimise current systems and processes
• Bring both onshore and offshore systems to one homogenous environment

Key Skills:

• Experience working within a modern Microsoft tech software engineering environment (C#, Azure)
• Experience with onshore and offshore systems engineering teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Ideally has a background within a SaaS business.

This role is a hybrid position (based in London Waterloo area).
