Senior Network & Security Engineer (SME Level)
- Hybrid – 1 or 2 days per week in the office in London and the rest remote
- £90,000 - £100,000 per annum
We collaborate exclusively with one of the most prestigious banks in UK, to assist them in finding a Senior Network & Security Engineer, on a permanent basis.
You will be part of the Private Cloud Platform and take ownership of day-today operations of the company's networking and telephony infrastructure.
Senior Network & Security Engineer (SME level)
Contract type: permanent
Work set up: hybrid – 1 or 2 days per week in the office in London and the rest remote
Salary: very attractive salary (£90 000 - £ 100 000) + 20% pension + bonus

Experience:
- Substantial experience of delivering critical IT infrastructure services, in a regulated business.
- Strong understanding of network and telephony infrastructure and systems.
- Demonstrable experience of administration and support for Cisco routing and switching across LAN and WAN, Cisco voice services and Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls.
- Working knowledge of VMWare technologies and Software Defined Networking environments
- Knowledge and experience of scripting and automation e.g. Terraform, Ansible and Python
- Experience with multivendor unified comms services an advantage recording, logging and reporting.
- Experience of working in a cloud environment. (AWS Direct Connect and/or Azure Express Route).
Desirable:
- Network automation / Software defined networking
- Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
- Hashicorp products (Terraform, Consul, Vault etc)
