Solution Architect

Solution Architect required for a leading professional services business looking to bring someone onboard for an initial 4 months remote first contract. This is a great opportunity to be a key member in the team to support a regulatory programme while leading a team of solution architects to put together the specifications for the different components in the architecture! The successful candidate hired will need to have previous experience of working in heavy regulated environments to be able to carry out the deliverables for this project. You will be coming onboard to ensure that the overall technology ecosystem design will support the strategic goals and be responsible for the end-to-end solution design for the Data programme. You will also be carrying out solution reviews and evaluations to manage this programme accordingly while also making sure the content and data requirements of the business are met in the technical solutions proposed.

Deliverables:

• Create architectures from a blank page based on unclear inputs
• Communicate that architecture and adjust it based on feedback from third-parties
• Recognise the way in which RS fit into the clients environment, RS’s vision and the way in which AI is a component in the larger RS vision

Skills required:

• Previous experience of automating business processes
• Had experience of working in heavily regulated environments
• Experience of implementing solutions across complex order-to-cash value chains for transactional, multi-month service and one-off purchases
• Solid financial understanding
• Experience of delivering the technical integrity of solution designs
• Previous experience in designing solutions that deliver to the outcomes detailed in the business case
• Background in clearly communicating the impact (risk and issues) of technology change options, and identifying mitigating actions
• Ensure the technical designs and solution choices get the necessary approvals from the governance bodies (ARB, TDA, CAB)
• Assure the Data Programme a successful release and ensure future solutions deliver requirements in a technologically appropriate way
