Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Synapri is looking for 2 Site Reliability Engineers on behalf of an International Software business that is looking to grow their SRE team. This company has developed a platform that spans over 80 data centres across the globe. These Engineers will be both software and systems engineers that can prevent system failure and ensure the business can serve over 1 trillion user queries a year. This company operates many services, so these Engineers will have the opportunity to keep learning new skills every day.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Collaborative approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of Shell scripting and Python and/or Ruby
• Knowledge of Go or willingness to learn it
• Understanding of Linux systems
• Understanding of computer networks
• Experienced in high-quality code, automated testing and other engineering best practices
• Ability to use configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible
