Service Desk Manager

I am currently recruiting for a Service Desk manager for a leading communications provider. The organisation are providers of connectivity and networking solutions to clients in the UK.

 

The Service Desk is responsible for delivering IT Service management and support to all the customers required. This will include provisioning, support, and maintenance of all solutions. You will also be responsible for the internal IT structure which boasts multiple software platforms, user support and critical hardware.

 

Experience ideally needed for the successful candidate:

  • Developing, managing, and expanding the team of service desk engineers
  • General improvement and service planning for all service desk operations.
  • Working with customers and their service desk/support to help and understand how you can work best together.

 

Skills required:

  • Experience in WAN,LAN & WLAN technologies.
  • ITIL Certification or working towards an ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Any experience with CCNA, CompTIA+, MCAA is advantageous but not essential.
  • Office network Infrastructure
