Service Desk Analyst

Service Desk Analyst is required for a service provider in the Insurance space. They are operating on a Hybrid model where they would like someone in the office at least 3 times a week. The role is a 6-month contract with a view to extend. They are looking for someone with a track record of working on a Service Desk. The tasks will be fairly technical, so I am looking for someone with a technical background.

You will act as a single point of contact and log all incoming calls to the service desk, as well as this you will undertake the BAU daily checks ensuring all issues are correctly logged, assigned, and resolved. A strong desire to build relationships within the service desk team, the Tech and Service function and the wider organisation is also very valuable and is something very important to my client.

A Service Desk Certification (SDC) is highly advantageous, as well as knowledge around the certification.

Objectives :

  • Ensure all incidents and requests are accurately logged.
  • Take ownership of logged tickets, tracking the progress of all calls.
  • Adhere all processes to ensure a high quality of service is provided to internal and external customers.
  • Undertake desk side supports when required.
  • Plan and prioritise work to ensure that deadlines and targets are met.

Key skills needed:

  • Strong ITIL experience
  • Azure experience
  • Modern Microsoft experience (Sharepoint, O365, Active directory)
  • Information Security awareness
  • ITSM tooling
