Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer is required to join a rapidly expanding team in a life science institute in Cambridge.

 

This person will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring scalable infrastructure services. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring new proof of concept as well as global applications have a clear back up and maintenance plan.

 

You will be working closely with other IT disciplines and business teams to accelerate the delivery of new products and features on the different programmes and projects that are going through automation, adopting first class infrastructure technologies to provide multiple different services within the institute that will make huge impact to public health.

 

You’ll be in regular communication with architects (data and solutions), product managers, QA testers and software developers to review the current platforms and improve them together. It will be under your remit to implement DevOps best practices, playing a key role in the embedding of the DevOps function and offering support across the delivery teams.
