Manager, Unsecured Consumer Credit Payments

Synapri are currently recruiting for a Manager, Unsecured Consumer Credit, this is to work for a leading financial services trade body.

Required knowledge and expertise

A high level of knowledge and expertise of the financial services environment especially around consumer credit, debit and credit data and the operational process that support these activities together with an understanding of the external challenges faced by our members

Responsibilities

Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues in the credit team and policy area's across the business. You will work within the credit team, but also engage within the personnel finance team, you will also support the Credit PSB and working committees, providing, leadership, consultancy, secretariat support. etc.

Maintain a comprehensive network of contact within the UK credit industry, including members, HMT, regulators, debt advisors, etc,

Key Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.  
• Experience of operational or policy work
• Capable of taking the lead as the subject matter expert and credibly presenting to high-level governance committees
