Infrastructure Engineer

An interesting opportunity is available to work with a prestigious client of ours in the banking sector.

They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to work on their private cloud and support day to day operation and improvement of the core IT infrastructure platform.

This will be a fixed term contract for 6 months, offering the same benefits as a permanent member of staff including 20% pension and 15% bonus, 28 days annual leave (pro-rata), etc.

Necessary experience:

• Analyzing and resolving complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues
• Automating infrastructure services using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Python and Terraform
• Managing windows domain environments with Active Directory, SCCM & SCOM
• Remote management of physical data centre operations
• Storage solutions such as EMC VNX, Powerstore, vSAN

Qualifications in any one of the following:

- University degree or equivalent in IT

- VCP, VCAP or other VMware certifications

- MCITP or other Microsoft certifications

• RHCSA or other Red Hat certifications
