Engineering Manager

An Engineering Manager is required within a disruptive, animal loving start up. Founded just over 10 years ago this company have since demonstrated pure passion and strength which in turn has naturally made them leaders within their niche market.

As Engineering Manager, you will be involved in the delivery, the people, and the leadership. You would also be given the opportunity to still be involved in the hands-on coding.

You can expect to be deeply involved in roadmap and planning discussions with the Product Managers and Engineering leadership. You will play a key role in growing the team and mentoring your team members while successfully communicating engineering plans and successes across the business.

• React
• React Native
• Python

We are looking for someone that has had at least a years’ experience working in a position with line management responsibilities, this could be as an Engineering Manager or as a team/tech lead. It would be beneficial if you have had experience being the “decision-maker” in the hiring process and also understanding the company’s enthusiasm for agile working and being happy to champion this across the technical team. Technically you will need to have held a senior-level role as an engineer working with either React, React Native or Python Django.
