DevOps Engineer

Synapri are currently working with a leading provider of Machine Learning and Data Intelligence Platforms, who are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their Research & Development team in refining and creating technology for global clients.

Our client are looking for someone to collaborate on exciting projects including greenfield and blue chip, to build secure and reliable solutions that are scalable for future needs.

The successful candidate will have strong background in operations/infrastructure and ideally have progressed into positions with a wider focus on development.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include working with engineers to build technology solutions, managing the cloud architecture of these solutions, root-cause analysis and resolving technical issues, designing protocols for system deployment/ troubleshooting/ maintenance, and using automation and tooling to monitor system health and also reliability.

Required skills include:

• Strong experience with Unix/Linux OS and core command line tools
• Knowledge of SQL and databases
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of Security and Privacy best practices

Desirable skills include:

• AWS cloud experience
• CI/CD workflows
• Docker and Kubernetes
