Analyst, Digital Innovation

Synapri are currently recruiting for a Analyst, Digital Innovation, this is to work for a leading financial services trade body.

Responsibilities and key skills

• Reporting to a principal advisor in the digital and innovation team, this role is to support activities on digital and innovation policy matters, engage in regulatory processes and consultations, participate in sector engagement & advocacy, and participate in the production of thought leadership. 
• This role will be in a team focused on digital and innovation policy issues in financial services. Key area’s of interest are Open Finance, AI, data ethics & privacy, digital identity and new digital money & assets (such as crypto currency).
• Supporting teammates with UK regulators, DCMS, BEIS and HM Treasury. This will involve preparing briefings, arranging meetings and helping to prepare presentations.
• Supporting key committees and working groups such as the Digital, Technology and Cyber Board, the Crypto assets Working Group, the Data Protection and Ethics Committee, and others as appropriate.
• Monitoring regulatory and policy developments.
• Producing briefings, member content, updates and newsletters.
• Doing research and contributing to thought leadership pieces such as blogs and report and Around two years’ experience working in policy or other relevant role advantageous.
