Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (Fixed Term Contarct)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team on a fixed term contract basis for a private bank in London.

The bank itself provides a range of traditional banking services, including current and savings accounts, mortgages, loans, and investments. It focuses primarily on serving high net worth individuals, families, and their related entities, with a reputation for providing exceptional personal service and discretion.

The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, Terraform, PowerShell & Bash, and Windows & Linux environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain the bank's DevOps infrastructure on Azure platform.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve deployment and infrastructure management.
• Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in DevOps.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, PowerShell & Bash, and Windows & Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps services such as Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts.
• Experience with Git, Docker, and container orchestration
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
