Senior Infrastructure Engineer
- 1 day per week in office - London
- £80,000 - £90,000 per annum
Synapri are currently working with a well-established financial institution in London, who are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support their Core Platforms and maintain their strong reputation to customers.
The successful candidate will be leading the refresh of legacy technologies and operating systems, adopt a continual service improvement approach to the infrastructure platform for increased security and efficiency, and adopt automated code-driven deployments to promote environment consistency.
Demonstratable experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to resolve complex infrastructure or application deployment issues is essential.
Required technical abilities include:
- Windows OS, Linux OS (RedHat)
- Windows 2008-2019
- VM Ware vSphere and accompanying technologies
- Infrastructure as Code tools; Terraform, Ansible
- Scripting languages; Python, PowerShell
- Knowledge of Security products and Network protocols/services
- Block Storage; Dell EMC Unity, Dell EMC VNX
