Synapri are currently working with a world-leading Charity Organisation who are looking for an experienced Global Data Protection Manager to join their Information Security/Data Protection team to provide support to their IT specialist and wider teams.
The successful candidate will be leading and implementing Global Data Protection and Change initiatives, engaging with regional and country senior management and stakeholders, build and maintain a regional focal points network to encourage a data privacy culture, and monitor legislative and guidance changes relating to data protection.
In addition, our client would require the successful candidate to escalate issues and risks to the Data Protection Officer for processing personal data internally to the business and globally, complete supplier assurance assessments, coordinate with wider teams for Subject Access Requests management, investigate personal data breaches, keep asset/vendor/processing activity records updated, and collaborate with business owners to draft privacy notices.
Required Skills:
- EU GDPR Practitioner Certification
- Change and Problem Management
Desired Skills:
- Fluency in 2nd language (Ideally Spanish, French or Arabic)
- Information Security Qualifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM)
- Privacy Qualifications (CIPP, ISEB, C-DPO)
