Senior Security Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

You will be joining the security division as a senior lead reporting directly to the CISO with your primary customer being the engineering department. You will be the product owner, building and maintaining the security roadmap whilst having complete autonomy to work on what’s best to improve the banks security. Duties will include:

• Delivering the security engineering roadmap
• Manage, coach and mentor a team of 8 engineers, ranging from junior to principal and team leads.
• Reporting the escalation of roadmap activities to senior management
• Draw out security requirements and provide recommendations
• Deal with emerging issues and requirements including IAM
• Facilitate risk management within engineering, ensuring risks are identified and managed

To be considered for the role you must have:

• Strong software engineering background
• Experience in SAST/SCA implementations, threat modelling and risk management is essential
• Experience in secure SDLC
• Experience building roadmaps
• Experience managing and leading a team of engineers at different levels of seniority
• Experience with risk management and risk controls such as ISO27001
• Experience improving the workflow of engineers through tools, processes and training
